The service
SignThatDoc provides a free e-sign PDF website. You may upload a PDF, mark signature areas, list a signee email, and share a private URL plus a generated password. Invited parties may apply a signature to those areas. No other document edits are permitted or supported.
Eligibility and acceptable use
- You must have the right to upload and share the PDF.
- You must not use the site for fraud, malware, or unlawful content.
- You must not attempt to bypass passwords, scrape private URLs, or alter PDFs beyond signature placement.
- You are responsible for who you send the URL and password to.
No legal advice
An e-signature collected on a free e-sign website may or may not meet the legal requirements for your transaction. SignThatDoc does not warrant that a signed file is enforceable in any jurisdiction and does not provide legal, notary, or identity-verification services beyond the technical signing record described on the site.
Accounts and passwords
Each uploaded document receives a generated password. Keep it confidential. Anyone with the URL and password may open that document. If you lose the password, SignThatDoc may not be able to recover it in plaintext because it is stored as a hash.
Availability
The service is provided “as is” and may change, pause, or end. We do not guarantee uptime, email delivery, or that every PDF variant can be stamped.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SignThatDoc is not liable for lost documents, leaked passwords you shared, failed negotiations, or damages arising from use of this free e-sign website. If liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to zero fees paid for the free service.

Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
