How we use that information
We use it to run this free e-sign website: store the PDF privately, create a unique URL, generate a password, invite the listed signee, place signatures on the marked areas, and keep an audit trail of access and completion.
Access control
Uploaded documents are not public galleries. A document is served only after the correct generated password is provided on its URL, or by the original uploader using their session key. Direct file browsing is blocked.
Cookies and session keys
We use essential cookies or similar keys so an uploader can finish placing signature boxes and so a signee stays unlocked after entering the password. These are not advertising cookies.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. Hosting, email delivery, and security plugins on the WordPress site may process data as processors to keep the website running. You share the URL and password with your invited signee; that sharing is your action, not a SignThatDoc public listing.
Retention
Documents, signatures, and audit records are kept so the parties can complete and download the signed PDF. You may email contact@signthatdoc.com to request deletion of a file you uploaded, subject to technical and security checks.

We use hashed passwords, private storage, and access checks. No method is perfect. You should send the URL and password through channels you trust and avoid posting them publicly.
